Refund Policy

This Refund Policy sets out the conditions under which a refund of the paid "Duo" subscription may be requested. It supplements our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service.
1. Principle
The Duo subscription is a subscription service. Except in cases provided for by law, no pro-rata refund is provided for a subscription period already started: upon cancellation, your access is maintained until the end of the period already paid for, with no refund of the unused portion.
2. Relationship with the free trial
The Duo subscription begins with a 14-day trial period during which no amount is charged. If you cancel before the end of the trial, no amount is charged to you, so the question of a refund does not arise. This free trial is the preferred way to evaluate the service with no financial commitment before any payment.
3. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As a consumer residing in the European Union, you generally have a 14-day period to exercise your right of withdrawal from a distance contract, in accordance with the Consumer Code.
However, as Nuptia is a digital service whose performance begins immediately after subscription with your express consent, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the portion of the service already performed (Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code). In practice, the free 14-day trial with no charge protects you: it lets you evaluate the service before any payment. This exception does not affect the mandatory rights you benefit from in your country of residence.
4. How to request a refund
Any refund request must be sent to our support team at support@nuptia-app.com, from the email address associated with your account, stating the reason for the request. Each request is reviewed individually and in good faith.
5. Refund timeframes
When a refund is granted, it is processed by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record) to the original payment method. The refund is generally initiated within a few business days of approval; the time for the funds to actually become available then depends on your bank or payment provider.
6. Role of the reseller (Merchant of Record)
As Lemon Squeezy is the official seller (Merchant of Record) of the subscription, it is the party that technically processes refunds and the corresponding VAT adjustments. Vanille Digital Ltd. handles the request and forwards it to the reseller; Nuptia does not have access to your banking details.
